This month, Vera Bradley will open two stores, located within larger department stores, in Japan, our first in the country.
Marui Yokohama, located in Yokohama just outside of Tokyo, opened March 10, 2012.
Marui Shibuya, located in Shibuya Tokyo, will open Thursday, March 15, 2012.

YAY! This is awesome! I remember chatting with a graduate student from Japan carrying a Vera bag. She fell in love with the bags and I schooled her on the local retailers in the area (I was living in California at the time). She was planning on stocking up on bags before she returned home

What a lovely window display.. bet the people of Japan are thrilled with this store. When in the Orlando store a Japanese couple came into store with two large suitcases!!!! When they left they were FULL of VB bags. I was amazed at how many bags went into two suitcases.
I live in Japan and come home to the States once a year. I go to Denver, CO to visit my sister and one of the first shopping trips we make is to the Cherry Creek shopping center to the VB store. Last year I was there 4 times in 6 days. Now I will have to find a reason to make it to Shibuya!
